During this project I have learnt more about web 2.0 more than ever before. I have learnt that people have many different opinions on how to use web 2.0 safely and what web 2.0 is. This project also made me aware on how to use web 2.0 in a sensible way.

What is Web 2.0? 

   Web 2.0 is mainly about social networking, which developed over time because of the amount of websites, which were made over time because people needed to find new ways to send messages and information

How did Web 2.0 develop in today's society? 

   which developed over time because of the amount of websites, which were made over time because people needed to find new ways to send messages and information.

What kind of people used Web 2.0?

   Now there are applications made especially for those social networking sites.

What are the benefits of using the elements that Web 2.0 covers?

   One of the key problems with Web 2.0 is dependence. Because many web services will be offered for free, they won't be secure, and they could easily be targeted by hackers. 

Which elements of web 2.0 suits your needs as a students?

The elements of Web 2.0 that suit my needs, as student is a wiki and blog. These two elements suit my need as student because I used these elements for school homework so that I can share my information on different topics and so I’m able to reflect on different subjects so I know what improvements I need in different subjects. I need the wiki so I can organize all the homework I have into the different pages of school subjects which makes things much easier for me. The wiki and blog also suit my needs because they both are easy to access.

  

Tech Fair (week one)

First: My first tech fair idea is to create a portable smoke detector which can be carried around in a bag. I have came up with this idea because i find smoke detectors very useful and interesting.

Second: My second idea is to create an entertaining game which is similar to the famous game copter. This game would only be on PC. We will create this game using a software called Scratch, it is a famous game creating software which has many characters and different scenes.

 This lesson i think i have worked well and have used my time wisely, i have been searching for different ideas and different ways to make these ideas. I did find difficulties when searching for an idea because most ideas needed either heavy tools of equipment which can not be found. I also think i could have chosen better sites to look for ideas. Because i have only found ideas that could be used for people in older grades.  

  I have found different ideas looking at videos and different sites. I have seen videos that teach ho to create small motors, how to create smoke detectors, videos that teach how to make games and gaming software and many more. Most of the ideas that I have seen have not done me any good because most of the ideas needed equipment and and things that we couldn't afford or find in regular stores. But there were still some good ideas that we might use for the tech fair this year.
